Heritage Funeral Home Sioux Falls Movie About A Mixed Race Daughter Whose Ashamed Of Her Black Heritage. Title?

Movie about a mixed race daughter whose ashamed of her black heritage. Title? - heritage funeral home sioux falls

During the late eighties saw a movie about a TMC mixed-race child of his black mother in a house where the mother was a white woman and her daughter raised complaint. Both girls are growing together as best friends and go to the same school, because the mixed girls can happen for a white girl. The girl is ashamed of his black common, because of the time. Passed as a white girl, until someone discovered and spread the word. Finally, they have everything and leaves. So, if I remember correctly, the black mother eventually died at the end. I credit to his funeral. I'm pretty sure it's in black and white film, but can not so sure. Heartbreaking film, and I'm dying to know the name. Anyone?

In 1949, there was a movie called Pinky who has the story.
It was from renew a 1934 a film called Imitation of Life. Once more, shot in 1959, a remake as an imitation of life. Version 1959 is probably the most respected and favorite Lana Turner and Sandra Dee veris

The film was "Imitation of Life" with Lana Turner, John Gavin, Sandra Dee, Juanita Moore and Susan Kohm. This is the second version of the film was made in the 30s, with a cast as brilliant.
